KLA to organise National Seminar
on Content Management and Libraries
Kerala Library Association (KLA) is organising a National Seminar on the theme “Content Management and Libraries: New Vistas for Harnessing Information”, from 14-16 July 2011 at Padmam Auditorium, Institute of Management in Goverment (IMG), Thiruvananthapuram.
The seminar has been conceived to assess the status and examine the new trends in the information transfer processes in libraries with a view to ensure better products and services and to develop new strategies through effective content management. Experts from Library and Content Management fields will deliver keynote adressess on the topic and lead different technical sessions in the Seminar. There will be poster/product presentations and selection of “Best Paper Award” from among the contributed papers. About 150 delegates from all over India are expected to attend the seminar.
Professionals, students and researchers from Library and Information Science, ICT and Content/Knowledge Management areas can attend the Seminar.
